Pregnancy Package

My pregnancy package includes 1 prenatal appointment and 1 postpartum appointment; this also includes 24/7 text/email communication for you to ask any and all questions you may have! You may schedule your prenatal appointment with me at any time, however, I strongly prefer that you take a childbirth education class prior to your prenatal appointment (if you need help finding a class near you, please let me know!)

Your (60-90 min) Prenatal Appointment Includes:

• Developing an in-depth birth plan

  • Sounds simple, right? Wrong! There are TONS of options and decisions for you to make regarding your pregnancy and delivery. I will present you with numerous topics for YOU to decide what you would like. Pregnancy is such an intimate and personal time in your life, and it is my goal that every single client is fully educated in personalizing their birth plan. Like always, my job as your doula is to listen to you and provide clinical information. I will never judge ones' preferences or be biased regarding the decisions you make. I will, however, advocate for your wishes according to your birth plan for you if you decide to have me present for your birth. ​

• Education on symptoms of your pregnancy to look out for and when to contact your provider​

• Listen to any questions you may have and provide further education on topics that you would like to become more informed on

• Loosely schedule your postpartum appointment (example "[insert number of days/weeks] after delivery)

• Talking about who your support will be during labor and delivery. Is it your significant other, family member, friend, and/or doula? Feel free to bring them with to your prenatal appointment, otherwise I can provide literature (written by me) on how they can support you during your time of need

The ultimate priority for me, as your doula, is to have you leaving your prenatal appointment feeling educated, confident, liberated, and at peace regarding the rest of your pregnancy, into your postpartum phase.

Your (60-90 min.) Postpartum Appointment Includes:​

• Discussing how your labor went (Are you satisfied with your labor experience? Did any health concerns arise?)

• Communicating about how you, your partner, and newborn baby are adjusting to this new time in your life

• Going over topics such as feeding (breastfeeding or formula, fed is best!), sleep, postpartum symptoms (both physical and emotional)

• The meeting to be in whatever setting you prefer (your home, a public place, you name it!)

• Addressing any questions or concerns you and your partner may have, along with providing any further education you may request

• Providing referrals to any specialists that would benefit you - lactation consultant, chiropractor, massage therapist, pelvic floor or physical therapist, etc

Your postpartum appointment is less formal than the prenatal visit. You get to decide what you need from me during this appointment-- think of me as your Postpartum BFF! Whatever you need, I will take care of. Use me to help you, whether it's doing dishes, folding laundry, holding baby so you can shower or spend time with other kids you may have, etc.  Your wish is my command. My one ask from you is that you do not feel the need to run the vacuum or feel the need to "get ready" for my visit. Motherhood is messy, and comfy clothes are the greatest postpartum "tool"
