Licensed midwives in Southern California do not have hospital privileges, are not all nurses, and we attend births at home and free standing birth centers.

We are fee-for-service and your full balance is due by 36 weeks. Based on your insurance plan, I will provide a super-bill after the baby is born. Reimbursement may vary.

Out-of-hospital birth was once the standard for all low-risk women. Midwives are trained and licensed by the medical board of California. The scope of care for midwifery is limited to normal pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
